I am myself. I'm really not sorry if that offends you.

I really don't have a whole lot of people I consider close friends (for I do not make friends that easily), but I'm not sorry. Four close friends makes for at least 20 not-so-close ones.
Apparently, I come off as a bitch/snob to some, but I swear I don't understand it and probably never will. I'm actually probably one of the nicest and most loyal people you'll ever meet. Just gotta get to know me first.
I'm only a bitch if the occassion calls for it.
I've been lurking around LJ for about 4 years now.
I am weird, and I'm proud of it. Different is normal.
I'm actually quite funny. I think. 0_o
I wish there was a seperate androgynous gender. (Look it up.)
I like girls. Occasionally, I like a boy or two or someone in between. I only mention it because I want you to know that WE. ARE. EVERYWHERE.
I'm all about LGBTQ rights.
I hate "traditional gender roles."
I try to be well informed, but I slack.
I read and write poetry. Although, not as often as I should.
I have my flaws. I'm working on them.

Music is pretty essential to my being in that I listen to it...not play it.
I love to read. A lot. Like, Walden's bookstore is my second home a lot.
It really may not seem like it to some, but I'm a very spiritually minded person (most tend to think I'm an atheist...?. I was raised to be catholic, but I decided organized religion really isn't my cup of tea. I'm the type of person who can take something from every faith, and am very interested in learning about beliefs from every corner of the world. I once considered studying religion in college.
Now, I want to study Psychology. I often feel like I'm my friends' personal therapist.
I believe in ghosts, faeries, spirits, past lives, angels, aliens, and psychics, but not demons or the devil.
I am what one might call a "Harry Potter obsesser", but I haven't lost touch with reality or anything. Yet anyway. Plus, it's calmed down over the years.
I'm also into Harry Potter slash fanfiction. In particular, Harry/Draco and I will make recommendations somewhat often.
I love having an opinion. I'll respect yours.
I love German.
I love baking.
I love rainbows so much I practically puke them.

I love "weird" people, such as myself.
I love traveling. I like going outside of the box most people put themselves in.
I tend to hate the masses, but I love the individual.
I love my cats.
I care about the environment.

I hate closed and judgemental minds. I am the polar opposite.
I'm impatient about some things and a procrastinator.
People with a sense of humor rock my world.
Immature kiddies who think they're in love get on my nerves.
My journal consists of random observations (sometimes important...usually not), me whining about what's fucked up in my life and/or the world, music/book/fanfiction/tv/movies/etc. Sometimes it's kid friendly. Sometimes it's not. Basically, it's my outlet and a way for me to connect and pass the time. That's all.
